Hi friends! Hope you are all off to a good start this week. Today I have the new summer collection from Sassy Pants Polish to show you, the Funny Fruits Collection. If these funny sassy names don’t have you giggling, then nothing will! Let’s jump right in because I have a ton of pictures to show you. 🙂

Sassy Pants Polish Going Bananas
Going Bananas is described as a pearl yellow shimmer with holographic microglitters and gold holo hex glitter. It’s not often I come across a yellow I like! This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.

 

 

Sassy Pants Polish Plum Crazy
Plum Crazy is described as a plum holographic glitter jelly base with violet and magenta holo glitters. This is the crazy sparkly polish that started off the Funny Fruits collection! My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat. Expect a little thicker consistency on this one, simply due to the amount of glitter.

Sassy Pants Polish Limey Bastard
Limey Bastard is described as a bright lime scattered holographic microglitter polish. This is themed after British shows where this popular insult is thrown around many times. My swatches (which were color corrected slightly for accuracy) show 3 thin coats with top coat.

Sassy Pants Polish Blue(berry) BallsBlue(berry) Balls is described as a royal blue shimmery linear and scattered holographic polish jam packed with holographic microglitters and blue hex glitters in various sizes. Shown here is 2 coats with glossy top coat.

Sassy Pants Polish Cherry Poppin’
Cherry Poppin’ is described as a cherry red jelly with red holographic hex glitter and a subtle blue shimmer. If you’re a Sassy Pants Polish virgin, this collection would be great for your “first time.”

Sassy Pants Polish One Bad Apple
One Bad Apple is described as a sheer dark green jelly with ultra chrome chameleon flakes and pale green medium hex matte glitters. This looks amazing built to opacity, or over a black base. My swatches are 2 coats with glossy top coat.

Sassy Pants Polish Nice Melons
Nice Melons is described as a coral linear holo with red-gold micro flakes. This one started out as a custom polish for my recent blogaversary giveaway. As it turned out, it was a perfect fit for this collection as well.

My Thoughts: I had no problems at all with this collection. The glitter heavy polishes will naturally have a thicker formula, which is totally normal, so just be expecting it. You may need an extra coat of top coat on some of these for a high glass like shine. My personal favorites are Nice Melons (naturally), Cherry Poppin’, Blue(berry) Balls, and Limey Bastard. Which of these do you like the best?
