Yes, some days just need a little glitter and today was one of those days. This was my first attempt using the sponge glitter technique (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvHrGHi7iSg) and it worked so well I’m ready to go out and buy lots of glitter bomb polishes!

I started with 3 coats of Maybelline Lust for Lilac. This is a very pretty lilac with just a tinge of pink. If you are careful you might get away with 2 coats. Then I chose Kleancolor Starry Purple for my glitter color, I have wanted to use this one many times but always found that I had so many thick coats of clear base to get the glitter effect I wanted then it would never dry. That’s where the glitter sponge method comes in!

How do you like the end result? I wasn’t too sure at first, but it grew on me after just a little bit. I will definitely be doing this again.
