I recently received the Atomic Refreshment Collection by a new indie brand, Quaint Paints. Laura is the maker and inspiration for all of their polishes. This was a fun collection for me, 2 of these polishes are glow in the dark and 2 are scented! My first time using scented polish, and suprisingly I absolutely loved it. But more about that in a bit, lets get onto the swatches!
Sun of a Sassafras
The first thing I noticed about this polish was the fun, unique glitter that you are sure to not find elsewhere. A variety of fun glitters including yellow suns, blue stars, red bar glitter, and various brown hexes make up this fun glitterbomb. The second thing I noticed was it smelled like root beer! I will say I never thought I would like a scented polish, but I really like it a lot. The scent isn’t strong and basically just covers the ‘polishy’ smell. But don’t worry, she can make them unscented as well if that’s more to your liking.
The swatches below are 2 coats over a base of Zoya Avery. Topped with Seche Vite topcoat. A little bit of digging and placing was necessary with this glitter, but that’s to be expected with any large glitter bomb.
High Fructose Victory
High Fructose Victory is a blend of gold stars, gold, red, and orange hexes in a reddish pink base. This can be worn on its own with 3 coats, or layered over a color of your choice. This beauty is also a glow-in-the-dark polish, which glows a very bright reddish orange.
For my swatches I layered 2 coats over a base of Wet n’ Wild Undercover. Topped with Seche Vite topcoat. Minimal digging and placing for this one.

The Nuclear Beverage Choice
Nuclear Beverage Choice makes me think of a cherry cola, and crave it for that matter! 🙂
This is a brown jelly base with gold and tan shimmer, and white and red shards to finish it off. It smells just like a bubbly soda, but again can be unscented if you prefer.
My swatches below are 2 coats over a base of Zoya Louise. Topped with Seche Vite topcoat.
Quantum Fizz-ics
Quantum Fizz-ics is full of holographic stars, holographic glitters, and a variety of holographic hexes, all floating in a blue jelly base. Again, this can be worn alone with 3 coats or over a base color of your choice. And its a glow-in-the-dark too!
My swatches below are 2 coats over Loreal Miss Pixie. Topped with Seche Vite topcoat.
