Hope you are all having a good day today! I’m excited to bring you more pretty polish by Lacquer Queen Polish. You may remember her Christmas collection I reviewed in December, you can see that post here http://www.polishandpaws.com/2014/12/lacquer-queen-polish-christmas.html. I really loved her Christmas collection, which by the way is still available and can easily be worn year round, so I was very excited to try these.
Pretty in Pink
Pretty in Pink is a beautiful pink with plenty of slightly subtle blue flashes of color as the light shifts, much like a pearlescent duochrome. I had no formula issues with this although it is a little sheer so if you hate any VNL you will definitely need 3 coats. My swatch below is 3 coats with OTD top coat.
Unicorns Unicorns
Unicorns Unicorns is a beautiful shimmering purple with a subtle linear holo. This is nice and opaque and only needs 2 thin coats. My swatch below is 2 coats with HK Girl top coat.
Just like Heaven
Just like Heaven is a beautiful frosty blue with a medium linear holo. This one was a little thick on its own, but a little bit of thinner did the trick. This was also very opaque and you could probably get away with one coat. My swatch is 2 coats with HK Girl top coat.
Peachy Keen Jellybean
Peachy Keen Jellybean is a frosted warm sheer peach. If you like peach or coral polish this one is definitely for you. It is a bit sheer, so plan on 3 coats if you want full opacity. My swatch is 3 thin coats with OTD top coat.
Do you Believe in Magic?
Do you Believe in Magic is a scattered holo top coat. My swatch is one coat over NOPI’s Tink is in the Pink. This is similar to China Glaze Fairy Dust, but I think I like this one a little more.
I always find it hard to pick a favorite from Tammy’s polish, because I always love them all. If I had to pick just one it would probably be Just like Heaven, I just love the frosty holo combination.
