I’m really excited to show you this collection today. Last fall with the All Aboard collection I started seeing something in China Glaze that I couldn’t get enough of, and that is their A-game. With a few hit or miss collections previously, I was blown away by the All Aboard collection. And nail polish enthusiasts everywhere were blown away by this summers Electric Nights collection. Well, China Glaze has done it again with their Desert Escape Collection. Let’s take a look…
China Glaze
Desert Escape Collection
Meet me in the Mirage
Meet me in the Mirage is a rose gold metallic shimmer. No formula problems on this one, it is tricky to get a smooth finish though as this finish shows every imperfection. Swatches below are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
What’s She Dune?
What’s She Dune is a sandy beige creme. A classic neutral for a variety of skin tones. Formula on this one is perfection. Swatches below are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
Rain Dance the Night Away
Rain Dance the Night Away is a bright turquoise creme. Easily my favorite of this collection. Formula was smooth and easy to work with. Swatches below are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
Don’t Mesa with my Heart
Don’t Mesa with my Heart is a rich violet pink creme. Formula was nice and smooth. Swatches below are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
Don’t Desert Me
Don’t Desert Me is a vibrant fuschia pearl shimmer. The formula on this was perfection. Swatches below are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
The Heat is On
The Heat is On is a sunlit red-orange creme with a jelly shine quality to it. Another nice formula. Swatches below are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
This is definitely another winning collection from China Glaze. The only possible downside would be the tricky finish on Meet me in the Mirage, but the color is so unique it’s worth it.
The China Glaze Desert Escape Collection also features 2 Nail Art Kits with 3 shades with temporary tattoo’s or black stripe rite nail art liner.
The China Glaze Desert Escape Collection will be available in June 2015 at LockandMane.com. Individual shades are $7.50; Nail Design Kits are $14.95; Tribal Council Micro Mini’s are $12.00. Individual Shades will only be available on LockandMane.com. Sally Beauty Supply will carry select Nail Art Kits but will not carry the individual shades. This collection will not be available at Ulta.
Hope you enjoyed these swatches! Will you be picking up some or all of this collection?
