Hi ladies! Just some quick nail art for you today. I was swatching some new polish this week from DD Lacquer, you can find that here, and was inspired to do some sunflower nail art with her polish Sunflower Power. When thinking about what other color would look good with it I saw Cinnamon by Big T Ranch sitting in my to-be-swatched (will be up in a couple days), and my idea was complete! So here’s what I did…
For the semi sheer white base I used 2 coats of Zoya Juliette. My middle finger I have 2 coats of Big T Ranch Cinnamon, and 2 coats of DD Lacquer Sunflower Power on my pinky (Although looking at it now I probably should have given it an extra coat!) 🙂
For the sunflower I made my own decals. Using Uber Chic plate 3-01 I transferred the image onto my stamper with MdU black. Using a small art brush I painted in the petals with Sunflower Power by DD Lacquer, and the middle of the flower using Cinnamon by Big T Ranch. When that was dry I put a thick layer of HK Girl top coat. I let it dry about 15 minutes and gently pealed off my decal and positioned it on my nail. Using a rubber cuticle pusher I pressed it into place and top coated once more. I trimmed away the excess decal with nail scissors and cleaned up anything else with some acetone. And of course my final look!
