Big T Ranch Soap & Candles ~ Swatch and review

Good morning ladies! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I swatched a lot and did some nail art, and played with my furry children. But that’s a perfect weekend for me! 🙂

I’m always excited to bring you more Big T Ranch Soap and Candles polish. I have 5 more for you today, a quite eclectic mix with a little of everything! 



Americana
Americana is a versatile glitter polish in a sheer deep blue base. It has a wide variety of glitter; small holographic glitters, blue stars, red stars, silver hexes, red squares, large round red glitters, and on. I have no doubt I left something out. You can wear this polish as a glitter topper with 1 or 2 coats, or 3 coats for full coverage. My first photos are 3 coats over a white base, yes a white base! That shows you that this really is full coverage. Very little fishing for glitter, although I never was able to get any of the large red round glitters. These swatches are 3 coats with 2 coats of OTD top coat.

Peacock
Peacock is a bright shimmer teal polish. It came out a little more blue in my pictures, but it is a true bright teal. This is 2 coats with OTD top coat. Yes, I do have plans of some peacock nail art for this. 🙂

Purple Lotus Blossom
Purple Lotus Blossom is a lavender purple with a strong scattered holo. The formula on this was so smooth and completely self leveling. My swatches are 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Skully
Skully is a fun and unique polish consisting of green bar glitter, yellow hex glitter, black square glitter, and pink aliens/people or skull & crossbones? I think technically this glitter is suppose to be skull & crossbones. But I hear Skully and immediately think aliens and xfiles (self professed geek here)! This polish has a semi-sheer brownish base, so I layered it over Zoya Louise. Very little fishing for glitter on this one! My swatches are 2 coats over the base color and 2 coats of OTD top coat. 

Note: This one definitely has some thermal properties. Lighter brown to darker brown. It’s very subtle and it shifts very fast so I wasn’t able to ever capture it.

Strawberry Lemonade
Strawberry Lemonade is a yellow to bright orange red thermal with red microglitters and yellow hex glitters. The formula on this was easy to work with, and the thermal shifts quickly and easily.
My swatches are 3 thin coats with OTD top coat.

Do you have a favorite of these? My favorites would have to be Purple Lotus Blossom and Strawberry Lemonade. I definitely have some nail art inspiration brewing which I will be posting in a few days.
