Good morning ladies! I’m super excited to show you a new neon collection by DD Nail Lacquer today. You might remember I reviewed part of their initial release a couple weeks ago, you can find that post here.
The Neon Necessities Collection consists of 7 vibrant neons and an exclusive neon glitter that you will receive if you purchase the whole set. So let’s jump right into the swatches!
Tutu’s & Lollies

My Friend Molly is a vibrant neon pink with a pearl like shimmer finish. My swatches are 3 thin coats with OTD top coat. No white undies.
Paint Party

Let’s Go to the Carnival
Let’s Go to the Carnival is a vibrant creamsicle Orange neon with a pearl like shimmer finish. My swatches are 3 thin coats with OTD top coat. No white undies.
Sunset over the Playa
Sunset over the Playa is a vibrant watermelon shade with a pearl like shimmer finish. My swatches are 3 thin coats with OTD top coat. No white undies.

Pros: A beautiful collection of neons with a unique finish. All had a great formula and are completely self leveling. Can easily be worn with 3 thin coats without the need for white undies. Exclusivity, the neon glitter topper, rounds out this collection with an extra pop of color and versatility. With 2 very nice collections under their belt, DD Nail Lacquer is proving themselves to be an indie to watch in the coming months.
Cons: LED Dreams didn’t really strike me as neon, so if you want neon you will want to use this one with white undies. This isn’t even much of a con though as it’s a gorgeous color regardless. I did notice a few dark specks in the bottle, a little unmixed pigment perhaps. Probably an isolated issue, and it did not show up on the nail.
Overall this is a really nice collection, and despite their being so many neons out right now, these carve out a niche for themselves with the pearl like shimmer finish and Exclusivity, the LE neon glitter topper. They also watermarble beautifully, however I will spare you from my imperfect watermarbles.
