I recently received this salt scrub from Lacquer Queen Polish. She sent me Revitalizing Citrus, but it’s available in dozens of other scents. I have recently been using KB Shimmer’s Citrus Sugar Scrub too, so I decided it was a good opportunity to compare the two.
KB Shimmer’s Sugar scrub is a very fine liquidy consistency (is that a word? :). It definitely has great exfoliating and moisturizing properties, but I have noticed I go through a jar in just about one month, so it doesn’t go as far as I would like.
Lacquer Queen Polish’s is a drier more course consistency, because of this it’s a little harder to scoop out a large amount. I found that I was naturally using less, but getting the same benefits as I was with the KB Shimmer. Actually I felt like my skin was staying soft and moisturized for longer.
Macro of Salt Scrub
So while I like them both, I feel like the salt scrub from Lacquer Queen (Treat Yourself Handmade Bath and Body) goes further simply because a smaller amount lasts longer. It is incredibly nourishing and moisturizing properties. And of course all of the Treat Yourself Handmade Bath and Body products are all natural, organic, and cruelty-free.
Ingredients: Kosher Salt, Coconut Oil, Essential Oils
Keep in mind the one downside is that the salt will immediately expose any tiny paper cuts you may have! So you might want to be aware of that. 🙂
