Hello ladies! I have some fun nail art to show you today. The prompt for day 5 of the Claire Stelle July (#ClaireStelle8July) challenge was Ice Cream. I was excited to try this, and ended up very pleased with the result!
I started with a single coat of Zoya Flynn over my whole nail. I stamped the cross-cross pattern with Zoya Dea. Then I painted a solid line about 1/3 down the nail with Zoya Dea, to represent the top of the ice cream cone.
For the ice cream I used colors from the Color Club Pastel Neons collection; Disco’s not Dead, Feathered Hair out to There, Diggin the Dancing Queen, and Til the Record Stops. I painted up to the solid line and then added in a few ‘drips’ to represent melting ice cream.
When that was dry I used a fine dotting tool to add in some candy sprinkles. For this I used colors from the Essie Neons 2015 collection. Then I finished it all off with one thick coat of HK Girl Glisten & Glow.
So how do you like this mani? Have you ever done ice cream nails? They sure were fun to do. 🙂
Until next time, stay polished!
