Good afternoon ladies! I have a new waterfall mani to show you today. I’ve seen and admired many waterfall mani’s, but hadn’t attempted one until now. This is why I love nail challenges, they force us out of our comfort zone to try new techniques we may never try otherwise. This week in TRNA a waterfall mani was chosen as the weekly technique, here is what I came up with.
Used in this mani:
Colors by Llarowe Coconut (purchased)
Potion Polish Beach Bunny Pink (sample)
Potion Polish Sparkle Cay (sample)
Potion Polish Papaya Sunrise (sample)
Potion Polish Rainbow Orchid (sample)
Color Club Harp on It (purchased)
Small striping brush (purchased)
I love how the macro shot really shows so many of the colors, and of course the silver holo!
This is a very simple technique done by moving the striping brush in a soft sweeping pattern down the nail. I have seen these done from cuticle to tip (as seen here) and also tip to cuticle. I will definitely be trying more of these; imagine the possibilities just changing colors, textures, or finishes.
Hope you liked today’s mani! Let me know in the comments below what you think of this. Have you done or will you try a waterfall mani?
Until next time, stay polished!
