The Leave the Sun Behind Me collection by Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer
40/41 Limited Edition
40/41 is described as a neon teal with cobalt Nfu Oh style flakies. My camera just could not capture the true color of this polish, to the eye it is deeper and more vibrant than what my camera could capture. I used 3 coats plus top coat, but 2 coats is plenty.
Thanks for Using Me
Thanks for Using Me is described as a neon green with gold to green to blue shifting shimmers. My swatch is 2 coats plus top coat.
Look at those @#$holes
Look at those @#$holes is described as a neon red with pink shimmering glass flecks. My swatch is very color accurate to the polish I received, which feels much more neon coral to me. The pink shimmer is apparent in the bottle, but didn’t transfer as well to the nail. Either way this is one of my favorites. My swatch is 2 coats plus top coat.
Stop Involving Me!
Stop Involving Me! is described as a neon yellow with copper shimmers and gold glass flecks. My swatch is 3 coats plus top coat.
My thoughts: I only recently discovered Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer but I’ve been beyond impressed with every polish I’ve tried. Each of these has a smooth, easy to apply, self leveling formula. The additions of shifting shimmers, flakies, and glass flecks make for these to be anything but your run-of-the-mill neons. And of course, all Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer is 5-free.
The full Leave the Sun Behind Me collection, which consists of 6 neons, will retail for $61.50 for the full size and $33.00 for the mini size. The first restock will August 24 at 3:30pm EST. This restock will include the neon collection as well as the newest Siren in the LE Siren Series.
