For this mani I started with a base of China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out – yes, an oldie but a goodie! 🙂 I transformed the look of it by adding a single coat of Smitten Polish Aqua Opal, this gave me the touch of flakies I was looking for but I still had the holo and softer blue that I wanted to reflect.
I then stamped the sea waves pattern using Mundo de Unas Black and MoYou London sailor plate #07 .
The holo sparkle was pretty subdued at this point so I put a single coat of ILNP My Private Rainbow right over my stamping. Perfect! Now it was time to add on the starfish studs. Initially I thought I would add in some other sea creature embellishments, but decided I really just wanted to feature the starfish. So here is the finished mani…
I’m quite pleased with how this mani turned out. The detailed, realistic starfish are super easy to use and the back side curves a little to form to your nail which really is a nice feature.
