Hello ladies! I’ve been off my game for the last bit, but I’m starting to get back into my routine. Today I have a new-to-me indie brand to introduce you to. This is The Cozy Collection by Lone Star Lacquer. It’s all about those creature comforts we cherish in the winter months.
Reflection
Reflection is a soft pale shimmer pink. I assure you this is a prettier color in person than on my nails. My pasty pale skin just can’t do it justice. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.
Cashmere
Cashmere is a soft taupe shimmer polish. I like this one quite a lot as it shows less brush strokes than any of them. Being shimmers some brush strokes is a given, but they were minimal with this one. My swatches are 2 coats with OTD top coat.
Crackling Fire
Crackling Fire is a shimmer burnt orange red with yellow micro glitters throughout. It really does make you think of a warm fire on a cold winter night. This is 2 coats with OTD top coat.
Toasty
Toasty is a warm toasty brown with tones of gold and a hint of holo. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Cup o’ Joe
Cup o’ Joe is a deep coffee brown with a muted luster and some varying microglitter. This is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

What do you think of this collection? Overall I liked it, it’s a perfect collection for fall and winter, and the formula was nice on each. I did get some bubbling on Reflection, which happens so rarely for me. I may have shaken the bottle too much or the first coat didn’t dry as fast as I thought it would. Either way this only happened on the one polish, and did not have this issue on any of the others.
My personal favorites are Crackling Fire and Cup o’ Joe. All of these polishes are currently available, find Lone Star Lacquer’s information below.
Until next time, stay polished!
