Zoya Whispers Collection ~ Spring Transition 2016

I know I don’t normally do evening posts, but I wanted to get these out quickly. The nail community starts to buzz about new Zoya collections, so here we go.. Zoya Whispers Collection.

Zoya Ireland
Ireland is described as a uniquely wearable green that is muted enough to make it subtle yet still interesting. This green is well balanced between blue & yellow so it’s flattering on all skin tones. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Zoya Misty
Is described as an easy to wear taupe that is an updated version of gray with just a touch of green to make it daring. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Zoya April
April is described as a light, rosy toned neutral that is a modern take on blush.
For this I used 3 coats as it was still a tad patchy at 2 coats. This was the first one I swatched so I think that was mostly me getting used to the formula.

Zoya Cala
Cala is described as a soft nude with a kiss of warmth that will flatter most skin tones. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Zoya Eastyn
Eastyn is described as a subtle grayed grape that is more interesting than mauve and gives a modern alternative that is ever so wearable. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Zoya Lake
Lake is described as a softened blue that gives the effect of serene water with just a hint of vibrancy to preserve its luminosity. My swatch is 2 coats with OTD top coat.

Note: This color would not photograph accurately for me. The actual color is softer and a touch more dusty than this shows.

My Thoughts: Nobody does cremes like Zoya, and that stands true with this collection. The formulas were nice and even on all, although I struggled slightly with April I think that was mostly me as that was the first one I swatched. I personally love this soft neutral dusty color palette, and it’s perfect to transition into spring colors. I honestly couldn’t even pick a favorite; they are all beautiful soft and quite frankly just lovely. For me this would be a must have collection. I know upon first glance they seem a lot like already released colors but once I got into them and really working with the colors Cala is the only one that really seems ‘dupe-ish’ to me. Over the next couple days I will be going through all the other Zoya shades from the past and doing some comparison posts. I will have that up for you shortly!

Zoya is available online at Zoya.com, Ulta Beauty Stores, and select Wholefoods Markets. The Whispers Collection will be available Monday, December 28th and will retail for $9 each.

Which will you be picking up? Or are you going to wait for comparison posts?

Until next time, stay polished!
