Do you ever swatch a whole collection and then look back at your pictures like ‘Ugh. I can do better.’ So you start over again and swatch till you’re happy with them. So now that you know why I’m late getting out the new China Glaze House of Colour collection, let’s not waste any more time and admire these new colors!
Pink or Swim
Pink or Swim is a bubblegum pink creme. Smooth easy formula, shown here is 2 coats plus glossy top coat.
Glitter me This
Glitter me This is a glitter topper with white, gold, and soft pink glitter. I don’t have anything else quite like this in my collection, its quite unique! Shown here is one coat over Pink or Swim with glossy top coat.
Sorry I’m Latte
Sorry I’m Latte is a soft nude creme. Easy to work with, shown is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Let’s Chalk About It
Let’s Chalk About It is described as an ultra soft pink creme. It first strikes you as a white polish, but it’s definitely not stark white. I would describe it as a soft white with pink undertones. Shown is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Come Rain or Shine
Come Rain or Shine is a bright blue polish with a strong pink shimmer. This color is gorgeous! Shown here is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Girls Just Wanna have Sun
Girls Just Wanna have Sun is a light yellow creme. This was slightly patchy but smoothed out nicely on the 2nd and 3rd coat. My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Don’t be Shallow
Don’t be Shallow is described as a sky blue creme. It has a bit of a crelly like finish and still a bit sheer at 2 coats. For full opacity you will probably need 3 coats. Shown here is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Moonlight the Night
Moonlight the Night is a glitter topper with blue and purple translucent color shifting glitter. Shown here is one coat over Don’t be Shallow with glossy top coat.
Chrome is Where the Heart Is
Chrome is Where the Heart Is is a rose pink metallic polish. The formula on this was easy to use and only shows minor brush strokes. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
About Layin’ Out
About Layin’ Out is a salmon pink creme. Has a crelly like formula with a slight bit of sheer finish with a lot of shine. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Shut the Front Door
Shut the Front Door is a violet pink shimmer polish. I found the formula on this to be quite thick and was the hardest to work with. I am going to add a little thinner to it now and hopefully that helps. Shown here is 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.
In the Near Fuchsia
In the Near Fuchsia is one of my personal favorites from this collection. Unique? No not really, but its this gorgeous crelly-ish formula that covers in 2 coats and an incredible shine finish even before top coat.
Overall I like this collection, while they aren’t completely groundbreaking, there are some nice unique shades as well. I particularly like that a number of these have jelly/crelly like formulas. Gives the whole collection a little added pop, and I just love the high shine squishy effect you get with these.
My personal favorites: Pink or Swim, Glitter me This, Come Rain or Shine, Chrome is where the Heart is, About Layin’ Out, and In the Near Fuchshia
