Hello ladies! Anyone on the fence about the Essie Lounge Lover Collection? I was too, so I opted for the partial mini collection. Maybe my swatches and review can help you decide one way or another. Check it out!
Essie Sunshine State of Mind
Sunshine State of Mind is a bright orange, and absolutely screams spring. I found this to have a near perfect formula. My swatch is 2 easy coats with glossy top coat.
Essie Off Tropic
Off Tropic is a dark forest green. Undoubtedly an odd choice for a spring collection, but something about it really appeals to me. Not to mention the formula was really really good.
Essie Lounge Lover
Lounge Lover is a bright coral pink. Another fantastic formula, this is 2 easy coats with glossy top coat.
Essie High Class Affair
High Class Affair is a soft blush neutral polish. Shown here is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Honestly I was very impressed with these. I have been learning to love Essie again and this collection possibly just sealed the deal. Each had a great formula, not too thick and not too thin, but just right. (Insert my best Goldilocks impression here.) All were completely opaque in just 2 coats and you could get away with 1 on most of them. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the full collection.
