I was recently contacted by Eleccio to review their new line of polish. This is a hybrid gel type, which requires no light, but is supposed to give longer wear time than a standard nail lacquer would. They also sent their base and top coat which I used for each of these swatches. So let’s get into the review to see what I thought of these…
Violet
Violet is a soft violet pastel purple creme polish. This swatch shows 2 coats with the Eleccio base and top coat. Zero formula issues. It went on smoothly and precisely.
Green Dublin
Green Dublin is a soft pastel spring green creme. My swatches show 2 coats with Ellecio base and top coat. Zero formula issues.
Camelia
Camelia is a lovely orange leaning coral creme. Shown here in 2 coats with Eleccio base and top coat.
Tweedia
Tweedia is a metallic silver foil polish. This looked a bit brush-strokey as it went on, which is common for this type of finish. However after I applied the Eleccio top coat it really minimized the amount of visible brush strokes. My swatch shows 2 thin coats.
My Thoughts: I was hugely impressed with each of these. They all applied like a dream with a buttery smooth formula, no application issues at all. They have a nice wide brush, but not too wide. Just wide enough to glide right over my nail in a single pass, requiring virtually no clean up. I also quite liked the base coat and top coat, however the top coat is not quick dry so don’t expect a 30 second dry time. It was dry to the touch in roughly 2-3 minutes, which honestly is quite good, we have just been spoiled with quick dry top coats! Overall I was quite impressed with this brand, and despite having mountains of good cremes in my collection, I will definitely be adding a few more of these. I just can’t resist really good quality cremes!
All Eleccio polish is 5-free, vegan, and crueltry free (leaping bunny certified.)
They retail for right around $10, which is right on par for this type of high quality gel hybrid polish.
