I’m back today with another Hobby Polish Bloggers Link-Up. The theme this month is Fruit. My favorite fruit is watermelon, so it seemed natural that I should do watermelon nails. They’ve been on my “To Try” list for a while now. Let’s take a look…

For this look I used the following:
- Black Dahlia Lacquer Watermelon Punch
- Mundo de Unas Black stamping polish
- UberChic stamping plate 9-01
- Essie Blanc
- Cupcake Polish Little Butterfly
- Pueen Clear jelly stamper
- HK Girl top coat
I started with 2 coats of Black Dahlia Lacquer Watermelon Punch on all of my nails. I adore this color, and it’s so fitting for this manicure!
For the accent nail I used an image from UberChic 9-01 for the watermelon seeds. Then using a striping brush I painted the watermelon rind with Essie Blanc and Cupcake Polish Little Butterfly.
For the rest of my nails I used the melon reverse image and stamped using MdU black with my Pueen clear jelly stamper. I finished everything off with a generous coat of HK Girl Glisten & Glow top coat.
I have to admit I love how this turned out. The base polish from Black Dahlia Lacquer was absolutely the perfect color, and the soft holo makes it even more realistic. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Until next time, stay polished!
