I recently had an opportunity to pick up a few of a new-to-me brand, Top Shelf Lacquer. An opportunity I couldn’t pass up, also known as a sale. As soon as I opened the package of new pretties I jumped right into a gradient using 3 of the 6.
The 3 colors I used for this gradient are Pacific Blue Sangria, Wild Orchid Cocktail, and Pink Flamingo.
Since these all had a little in the way of glitter or holographic glitter in them I decided to do a fan brush gradient, rather than piling it on thick with a sponge. I really liked this method as it allowed me to blend the colors perfectly without having to use much polish. I will definitely be using this method again for gradients.
I liked the results of the gradient so much I jumped right into stamping without so much as snapping a single picture. So this is all you get to see… 🙂
For the stamping I used an image from UberChic plate 7-02, MdU White and my brand new Fab Ur Nails clear jelly stamper. (My favorite clear jelly stamper yet – but thats another post!)
I hope you liked this mani! I was very pleased with how easy these polishes were to work with. Do you have any Top Shelf Lacquers?
