You know what time it is? It is Zoya Fall release time! I always look forward to Zoya releases, and I know that many of you do too. This release is particularly exciting as it contains 3 holos, 2 scattered holos and 1 linear holo. Let’s jump right in and take a look!
Zoya Troy
Troy is described as a liquid pewter with a foil finish and an edgy touch of black and gold. This is really an edgy yet sophisticated shade. It would be gorgeous with some simple black stamping. The best part is it’s a OCW (one coat wonder.) I used 2 coats for my swatches, but one is all you really need. Topped with glossy top coat.
Zoya Britta
Britta is described as a berry metallic with a red and purple fuchsia flash. I absolutely love the vampiness of Britta. I absolutely love this kind of color for fall. And another stunning OCW! Again I used 2 coats, mostly out of habit, but one is all you need. Topped with glossy top coat.
Zoya Ash
Ash is described as a cherry red with red and gold metallic shimmer. If metallic reds are your thing you are sure to love this one. The red and gold shimmer gives it a beautiful depth. Ash is also a OCW. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Zoya Merida
Merida is described as a brilliant lush evergreen scattered holo. And it definitely is lush! This would be absolutely perfect for some holiday nail art. Pair it with Zoya Blaze and you are all set for a gorgeous holo-day manicure! My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Zoya Finley
Finley is described as a deep royal purple scattered holographic. A flawless formula, perfect in 2 easy coats. Very different from Aurora, which leans more red. Finley leans more blue. My swatches are 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Zoya Alicia
Alicia is described as a silver linear holo with a touch of gold shimmer. The first ever linear holo from Zoya and they knocked it out of the park! Super easy smooth formula. It was mostly opaque in 2 coats, but I touched up a bit with a 3rd coat. If you use slightly thicker coats 2 would probably be perfect. I also really like that this is a softer silver, leaning more towards white. Truly beautiful!
My Thoughts: For obvious reasons the real winners in this collection are Merida, Finley, and Alicia. I have always loved Zoya’s holos despite there being far too few of them. And this collection brought the first ever linear holo to the Zoya line! I had no problems with formulas and all applied smoothly and evenly, and there are plenty of true one coaters too! I’m very excited to see Zoya bring out new holos, and introduce more OCW’s.
