I have a fun new collection by LynB Designs to show you all today. This collection is based on the 1974 movie Young Frankenstein, and it’s infamous skit of Puttin’ on the Ritz. (Incidentally, my miniature pinscher – Ritz -was named after this song.) So let’s take a look!
I thought I would include the Puttin’ on the Ritz skit for you. It is so funny!
LynB Designs Quiet Dignity and Grace
Quiet Dignity and Grace is described as an intense black Galaxy holo and regular black holo glitter in a black jelly base with holo shimmer.
This one was a little on the thick side, but that’s really to be expected with this kind of glitter load. For my swatches I used 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Abby Something is described as a deep berry base with rainbow chameleon flakies, teal shimmer, and holo micro shred.
Here I have layered it over black to show off the teal shimmer. This gives it a completely different look, it’s like 2 polishes in one!
LynB Designs Do you also say Frodrick?
Do you also say Frodrick? is described as a sheer grey blue base with UCC flakies that shift from green to cyan to blue to purple to pink.
This polish is so gorgeous with all those amazing shifty flakies! Here I am wearing it in 3 thin coats, but layering it over a teal or blue would look equally awesome. Glossy top coat.
Taffeta Darling is described as a deep purple jelly base with linear holo, green fantasy flakes, and shifting pigment that shifts from pink to orange.
This is definitely one of my favorites. I couldn’t get the orange shift to come out and play, but the pink definitely did. I used 3 coats here, but 2 is really plenty. The camera likes to pick up every thin spot so I added the 3rd just to be sure. Glossy top coat.
LynB Designs Put the Candle Back
Put the Candle Back is described as a pale off white base with orangey golden shimmer and orange iridescent glitter.
This was a tad bit thicker than I like, but it helped to keep that glitter away from my cuticles. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Ovaltine? is described as a taupey tan base with hint of tonal shimmer, holo shimmer, and hint of brown micro glitter.
Another favorite. This is the perfect base for some fall manis! In fact I’ve already done one, I’ll post it at the end. Here I’m wearing it in two coats with glossy top coat.
The Young Frankenstein Puttin on the Ritz collection is releasing Friday, September 30th. This will also be the first collection to launch on their new website, so be sure to check it out at the link below!
And I have one more thing to show you. LynB Designs will also be offering candles now. Perfectly scented, clean burning candles.
There will be 6 scents starting out. She sent me Nutmeg & Cinnamon. I am sensitive to a lot of scents (as is my husband) but I loved this one. It was perfectly balanced without being overwhelming. To test it out with my husband I lit it one night before he was home. It burned for hours and he never even mentioned it.. To clarify, that is a good thing!
To recap, 6 scents will be releasing intially with more to be added shortly. The candles will be $12 each.
The Puttin on the Ritz collection will be $35 for the full collection, including free shipping. You cannot beat that deal.
Jenna is also giving away one full collection, running till the 29th. Check out her Instagram or Facebook for more details on how to win!
Set a reminder ~ Friday, September 30th at 7pm EST.
