It’s time for a new Square Hue box! I always get excited when I get my Square Hue box in, I’m kinda like a kid at Christmas opening it up to see the new colors. I enjoy a little mystery sometimes! So let’s take a look at the nail art I did with this months colors.
As much as I wanted to swatch these unfortunately time did not allow due to so many fall collections releasing this month and my swatch rack being continually full. But just look at these gorgeous colors!
So for this beginners nail art mani I started with 2 coats of SquareHue Corkscrew Canyon. This is a perfect blurple creme and applies flawlessly with 2 easy coats.
I knew right away that I wanted to do a fall dotticure with a falling leaves look. I needed one additional color for this to look like fall leaves so I pulled out Square Hue Magnifique for the green.
I used 2 sizes of dotting tools, small dots to represent the falling leaves and larger dots to represent the leaves on the ground. While the gradual effect wasn’t quite as much as I hoped for I still love the final result. This is a very easy mani to do and since it’s an abstract look there is no right or wrong way. It’s amazing how many looks you can create just with a few dotting tools!
