Hello to all my dear readers today! You all ready for something a little different? Joanne over at Daphine Polish is getting married and created a stunningly beautiful collection of wedding polishes. Let’s take a look at these!
Daphine Polish Something Old
Something Old is “inspired by the color of antique lace, a shimmering off white with gold and copper holographic micro glitters to give it that aged tint.”
For my swatches I used 3 thin coats with glossy top coat. Nice easy formula that dries quickly.
Daphine Polish Something New
Something New is “sweet and new like a baby’s bottom! A light pink shimmer with peach micro flakies.”
This started out a little on the streaky side, but smoothed out nicely on the second coat. Wearing it here in 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Daphine Polish Something Borrowed
Something Borrowed is described as a delicate hodgepodge of borrowed beauties. White, mint green, and iridescent glitters with a strong gold shimmer.
A very pretty glitter topper that can be worn over any of the other 3, or your favorite shade. Shown here in one coat over Something New.
Daphine Polish Something Blue
Something Blue is described as a lightest shimmery blue-grey with a scattered holographic finish.
My swatches below show 3 thin coats but I almost didn’t need the third coat, so 2 slightly thicker coats is probably all you really need. Another smooth easy formula!
This is such a lovely collection! Absolutely perfect for a wedding, or even year round. My personal favorites are Something Old and Something Blue.
The Wedding Collection releases Friday, October 28th at 8pm EST.
