Do you sometimes feel like you need more Joy in your life? I sure do, and I imagine most of us have felt that way one time or another. Sometimes just small things will brighten your day, for me that’s NEW NAIL POLISH!! Ahhh, nail polish. So I have a little Joy to bring to your day, Joy Lacquer!
And before we jump in, I want to show you some of the inspiration for this collection. The individual polishes are named after the halloween costume that Joy has been working on for her daughter. They certainly go well with it!
Joy Lacquer Chick or Treat
Chick or Treat is described as white creme based polish with tiny purple and gold sparks. There are sparkle charcoal flecks scattered throughout the polish giving it a speckled gray effect from a distance.
This is for all the white crelly lovers out there. Fantastic formula that goes on easy and smooth, and fully covers in just 2 coats. I love polishes like this for nail art. Instead of a stark white why not use a crelly like this to add a little extra pop. Sealed with Joy Lacquer 3..2.. Oh! Quick Dry Top Coat.
Joy Lacquer Scary Stories to Talon the Dark
Scary Stories to Talon the Dark is described as a thermal that’s packed with copper chrome, rose, peach and gold flakies. In it’s warm state it will be a burnt orange, almost goldenrod color. When cold, it transitions to a brownish copper with all the flakie goodness contrasting agaiinst the darkness.
This is one of those fall-in-a-bottle polishes for sure. It does need 3 coats for opacity but it’s 3 easy fast drying coats, so I can’t complain. Sealed with Joy Lacquer 3..2.. Oh! Quick Dry Top Coat.
Joy Lacquer This Many Treats should be Ill-Eagle
This Many Treats should be Ill-Eagle is described as an opaque black creme with an added gold sparkly shift.
There is little else classier than a black and gold combo, and that stands true for this polish. And the best part.. this could be a single coater if you use a slightly thicker coat. I use very thin coats so my swatches show 2 coats with Joy Lacquer 3..2.. Oh! Quick Dry Top Coat.
And of course I had to do a little halloween nail art.
