Hi ladies! I have a new-to-me brand to show you all today. Supermoon Lacquer is the polish line by The Howling Boutique, which specializes in glass and painted jewelry. Expanding into indie polish was a natural progression. Supermoon Lacquer is still fairly new to the indie scene, but is already turning plenty of heads in the indie polish community. And after trying this collection I can certainly see why! Let’s take a look…
Supermoon Lacquer The Lone Heir
The Lone Heir is described as a red-violet multichrome with violet and purple-to-red color shifting shimmer.
This is such a gorgeous vampy shade! Applied smoothly, and fully opaque in 2 easy coats.
Supermoon Lacquer Knight’s Strength
Knight’s Strength is described as a blue based purple multichrome that shifts in color from bright purple to dark blue to bright green.
The shifts on this one are slightly more subtle, but that’s also part of the beauty of it. 2 smooth easy coats with glossy top coat.
Supermoon Lacquer Crossoad Blues
Crossroad Blues is described as a dark blue/teal holographic duochrome with turquoise-to-purple color shifting shimmer and iridescent blue-to-teal color shifting microglitter.
Is it blue? Is it teal? It’s both! I want to wear this like forever, or at least days. Which is forever in polish time. 2 stunning coats with glossy top coat.
Supermoon Lacquer Fight your Demons
Fight your Demons is described as a reddish brown multichrome with copper, gold-to-green, and red/orange/gold color shifting shimmer.
A shimmery, shifty, sultry, sassy, deep brown. Need I say more? 2 flawless coats with glossy top coat.
Supermoon Lacquer Luck of the Draw
Luck of the Draw is described as a green holographic duochrome with turquoise and green-to-blue color shifting shimmer plus iridescent green-to-teal color shifting microglitter.
If you notice those little bumps on my middle finger, that’s some unmixed pigment. But Mardi is already aware of it and has the issue fixed for the other batches. I’m not convinced I did this polish the justice it deserves, but hopefully you can trust me. Or check out other swatches, whichever is easier. 🙂
Supermoon Lacquer The Apple of Eve’s Eye
The Apple of Eve’s Eye is described as a red holographic duochrome with copper and red-to-orange color shifting shimmer plus gold and copper holographic microglitters.
This is one pretty red. If you love reds you need it. Simple. 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Supermoon Lacquer Green Goddess
Green Goddess is described as an olive-green based multichrome that shifts in color from bronze to gold to green.
Is there anything prettier than an olive green? Yes in fact there is. A multichrome olive green. Olive green is my go to color right now, so this baby just earned a coveted spot on my desk! 2 flawless coats with glossy top coat.
Okay, now on to the important stuff.
