Back in October I showed you all some water decals from MILV Nail Art. They sent a large selection so I have done 3 mani’s every few weeks. You can see the previous posts here. I have come to love these decals! The designs are unique and beautiful, and not just the typical flowers that we see so much of in decals. I am thrilled with how these mani’s came out so let’s take a look!
MILV Black Lace Water Decals (S 224)
Who doesn’t love a black lace mani? I usually do black lace manis over a sheer base, but this time I decided pink was the color to go with. The polish I used is Sally Hansen Peach Babe, so either mine had changed colors or the name never made sense. Either way I love how this turned out and its so simple to do!
MILV White & Gold Water Decals (F 063)
I love love love this design! True gold foil in decals is fantastic, it gives a look that really can’t be duplicated (without doing foil stamping at least – which yours truly hasn’t mastered yet.) it’s hard to tell in the picture, but the white and gold are both part of the decal. I simply layered them over the base color. For me there was no debating what color to pair these with, I just knew it had to be cobalt blue. Sinful Shine Most Sinful didn’t disappoint.
MILV Gold Arch Water Decals (S 221)
At first I didn’t have a clear vision for what to do with this design. I put them on my desk in front of me for a day or two to ponder. Then my husband brought in the mail one afternoon, and as soon as I saw it I knew Sassy Pants Polish Winter Sunset was perfect for these! Winter Sunset is a white crelly with various black/dark flakes and a brilliant gold shimmer. The gold arch really brings out the gold shimmer in the polish and I was awe struck with the result.
