The Technicolor World, inspired by La La Land, is the newest collection coming from the Glam Polish lab. Rarely do I find a collection where every single shade is a winner for me, but when I do it’s very often a Glam collection. Let’s jump right in and take a look at this bright fun collection…
Glam Polish Here’s to the Ones Who Dream
Here’s to the Ones Who Dream is described as a Jade scattered holo with shifting flakes, holo flakes, ultra holo glitter, and fine holo microglitter.
This is such a great color, and the color shifting flakes really make it special. Perfect formula, opaque in just 2 coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Glam Polish What a Waste of a Lovely Night
What a Waste of a Lovely Night is described as an Indigo intense holo.
Stunning deep indigo holo with no shortage of holo sparkle! For my swatches I used 2 coats, but you could get by with one thicker coat if you’re in a hurry. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Glam Polish Another Day of Sun
Another Day of Sun is described as a Bright Yellow with pink shimmer a hint of holo and a splash of fine holo microglitter.
Me? Love a yellow? Surely not. But I can’t stop staring at this one! I had to adjust my camer settings to reduce the light, apparently this bright beauty was too much for it. But these swatches are spot on accurate now for this polish.
Now the formula on this was a bit streaky and needed 3 coats to even out, but none of that is particularly surprising given the shade. It also dried to kind of a satin matte finish, so plan on a top coat for a nice shiny finish like below.
Glam Polish Someone in the Crowd
Someone in the Crowd is described as a Cobalt Blue Crelly with iridescent flakies, shifting flakies and fine holo microglitter.
Just give me all the cobalt blue polish. But when you do glorious things such as holo, glitter, or flakes I will love you forever! Perfect flawless formula, 2 coats for opacity. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Glam Polish As Long as it’s Pure Jazz
As Long as it’s Pure Jazz is described as a Deep Plum intense holo.
Vampy holos give me life, even in the middle of spring! I did nothing extra to capture the holo, it’s just there bold and shifty for all to see. I used 2 coats for my swatches, but one slightly thicker coat will do ya. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Glam Polish I’ll See You in the Movies
I’ll See you in the Movies is described as a Red scattered holo with ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.
Another beauty that you could get away with just a single coat. I used 2 coats, as the camera picks up *every* imperfection. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Glam Polish Why Do you Say Romantic like it’s a Dirty Word?
Why Do you say Romantic like it’s a Dirty Word? is described as a Light Gold intense holo with pink and peach shimmer and holo flakes.
This is such a lovely shade, not a bright in your face gold at all. It even leans more neutral on me in certain lights. So many options with this beauty! Perfect flawless formula, just 2 coats for opacity. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Glam Polish It’s a One Woman Show
It’s a One Woman Show is described as a Bight Pink with blue/purple shimmer, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.
I had to really play around with my camera to get this color accurate, it really just wanted to wash it out. So my skin is weird, but by golly the polish is spot on! It is bright, shifty, and oh so fun! A definite for spring and summer. I used 2 coats for opacity. It does dry to a satin like matte finish, neon and all, but as you can see a glossy top coat maximizes the shine.
Glam Polish City of Stars
City of Stars is described as a Lilac Crelly with shifting iridescent glitter and fine holo microglitter.
Oh my gawd. This polish is everything! My top favorite from this collection. Due to the level of glitters it will dry to a very slight texture, so if you’re like me and want a glass like smooth surface a nice thick layer of top coat does the trick.
Glam Polish Chasing all the Lights that Shine
Chasing all the Lights that Shine is described as a mix of rainbow metallic glitter, shifting iridescent glitter and a hint of fine holo micro glitter in a clear base.
I wanted to try this one two different ways, first I used 3 coats alone (can you say Bling! Bling! ?) then I used one coat over City of Stars. I’ve also seen it layered over white and black, and its truly stunning regardless.
Okay now for the important stuff!
