Hi friends! I have a short and sweet post for you all today, my first Throwback Thursday post. I would like to do more throwback posts as I have plenty of throwback polishes, but we’ll see what my posting schedule has in store for me before I make too many promises! Now let’s take a look at this vintage China Glaze from 2006.
China Glaze Rated Holographic is a warm pink-ish peach holographic polish from the 2006 Kaleidoscope Collection. We can pick up a polish like this just about anywhere today, but at the time this was a groundbreaking collection from China Glaze! This was well before indie polishes came on the scene so holographic polishes were really rare still.
The formula is very thin (I’m thinking this is before the 3-free days even?) but it dries lightning fast which is pretty cool! I used 3 coats for full opacity.
Any vintage polish lover will appreciate this polish for what it was back in 2006. I picked this up a few years ago in a destash, but it’s actually not too terribly hard to find if you stalk storenvy or ebay. Hope you enjoyed todays post!
Until next time, stay polished!
