There has been lots of talk, and photos, of the recent ILNP’s The Magician. I was eager to give it a try too so let’s check out my “magician mani.”
Okay so this was my first time using a clear base unicorn pee polish and I was super stoked about it! Check out this shifting shimmer! For those that don’t know “unicorn pee” is the term used for a rare discontinued pigment that shifts from red to green to gold. It is beautiful layered over your favorite dark shades. Any shade really, but it pops more over dark shades.
I’ve heard that blue or purple are great base colors for unicorn pee, but I couldn’t choose one so I decided to do a blue to purple gradient for my base. I had also been eagerly awaiting the Lina Make Your Mark stamping plate 03, with its “blank image.” I decided to create the gradient with this image using Zoya Ryan and Zoya Lael. I did about 3 stamped layers, and while its not as gradient-ish as it could be I was still pleased with my first try using this method.
So now that I had my gradient I was ready for the unicorn pee.. and I just LOVE how it turned out! This is one coat of The Magician over Zoya Lael and Zoya Ryan.
So how do you like this? Do you love unicorn pee as much as I do? What unicorn pee polishes do you have? Leave me a comment below please.
The Magician is still available for a limited time. ILNP Website
Until next time, stay polished!
