Hi friends! Today I have a new-to-the-blog brand to show you. Lilypad Lacquer is a well respected, established brand in the indie community but a first time coming to my blog. So have you all noticed that jellies are making a come back? I for one am thrilled about it because I love jellies! So naturally I was excited for the chance to show you this fun colorful collection, the Juicy Jellies!
Lilypad Lacquer Mandarin Magic
Mandarin Magic is best described as a sheer orange jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. I used 3 coats for my swatches. Keep in mind that I have a very white free edge so they will likely be more opaque if you don’t have my crazy visible free edge. 3 easy smooth coats with glossy top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Blackberry Baby
Blackberry Baby is best described as a sheer blueish black jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. The green to purple shimmer really pops on this one. This is 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Raspberry Razz
Raspberry Razz is best described as a sheer berry red jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. I ended up with a couple thin spots on this one, but if you’re careful to not over manipulate the polish I think you’ll be fine. (ie I’m pretty sure it was operator error!) This is 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Bubblegum Buzz
Bubblegum Buzz is best described as a sheer aqua blue jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. I love this color! It reminds me of shimmering coastal waters, in Jamaica to be exact. Look at me dreaming mid-blog! Back to reality… My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Grape Punch is best described as a sheer purple jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. This color is everything! Nicely opaque with a strong flash of shimmer. 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Coconut Crunch
Coconut Crunch is best described as a sheer white jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. This one is still quite sheer with 3 coats, but that’s not surprising with a white. I was curious so I also tried it as a topper over a periwinkle creme (shown below.) Sealed with glossy top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Tropicana Tang
Tropicana Tang is best described as a sheer lemon yellow jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. A bit more sheer than many of these, but this bright yellow pops so much the amazing shade is all you will notice. 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Pink Fizz is best described as a sheer fuchsia pink jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. Oh how many ways can I love thee?! Unlimited ways. That’s how. Stunning shade, nicely opaque, amazing shimmer. Be still my polish loving heart. 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Kiwi Crush is best described as a sheer lime green jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. Another color that gives me life. So beautiful! 3 coats with glossy top coat.
Lilypad Lacquer Blueberry Bang
Blueberry Bang is best described as a sheer lilac jelly with green to purple colour shifting shimmer and color shifting iridescent glitter. My swatches show 3 coats with glossy top coat.
