Hey my polish lovelies! A new month brings a new Square Hue box, and boy is this one a winner! Three beautiful colors with flawless formulas. Spring has definitely sprung in this box. Let’s jump in and take a look. Don’t forget to check out the nail art at the end…
SquareHue La China
La China is best described as a classic cherry red creme with purple micro flakes. The formula leans a bit more crelly than creme as there is still a bit of VNL at 2 coats. Applied beautifully and easily though. Sealed with glossy top coat.
SquareHue Ole’
Ole’ is best described as a violet lavendar creme with silver microflakes throughout. Flawless formula, perfectly opaque at 2 coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.
SquareHue Charro
Charro is best described as a bright lime green creme. My favorite of the 3, the formula is creamy and flawless. Fully opaque at 2 coats, sealed with glossy top coat.
And for the nail art…
My original idea was to freehand this. But after a couple tries I was reminded once again why I love to stamp.. my freehand skills are awful. I’ve been blessed with a lot of great things in life.. but freehand skills is NOT one of them. So I decided to do some reverse stamping, and a couple years ago I did this amazing reverse stamping tutorial here… so if you want to give it a try just jump right in! This design is much easier than the tutorial design, and hey it’s only nail polish right! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed todays post!
