Clara Gordon Bow, born on July 29, 1905 and raised in poverty and violence in Brooklyn, New York. Winning a photo beauty contest in her teen years launched a movie career that would eventually number 58 films, from 1922 to 1933. Clara Bow had a major success with the 1927 film It, which proved a tremendous box office draw and lent her the nickname the “It” Girl.

The Original “It” Girl is best described as a seafoam mint crelly with soft pink shimmer and a touch of holographic microglitter. For my swatches I’m wearing 3 thin coats with glossy top coat. Nice easy formula.
