Le Chat Athena
Athena is best described as a brick red creme polish. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Felicity is described as a pumpkin orange creme polish. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Destiny is best described as a blackened teal green creme polish. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat. This one stained my cuticles, so I recommend very careful application and removal.
Grace is described as a muted wisteria purple creme polish. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Harmony is best described as a medium warm toned brown creme with slight yellow undertones. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Olivia is described as a dark forest green creme polish. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat. This one stained my cuticles, so I recommend very careful application and removal.
These all applied nicely, however as you can see I did have an issue with white specks showing up both in the bottle and on the nail. I have confirmed that this isn’t a widespread issue as others I talked to had no problems. I’m inclined to think this is a problem with a specific batch of bottles.
My previous experience with Le Chat cremes has been very positive, and despite this collection they are still some of my favorites. With a $6.50 price tag for the lacquers they are more affordable than many comparable brands.
The Modern Muse collection is available now in both Dare to Wear Nail Lacquer and Perfect Match Soak Off Gel. Can be purchased directly on the Le Chat Nails website (linked below) or in their Amazon store. For more information on Le Chat products check out their social media below.
