LVX Verdant
Verdant is described as a rich metallic olive green with yellow gold shimmer. Beautifully smooth and applied perfectly. Easily a favorite for me! My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
French Rose is described as a warm rose gold/copper metallic. Beautiful shade perfect for fall and winter! My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Rouge is described as a deep candy apple red metallic. Such a sultry red! I’m wearing 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Mulberry is described as a deep berry mauve with brown undertones. Nice formula. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Stardust is described as a silver shimmer with various sizes of hex glitters throughout. For me this is the oddball in this collection. It’s bumpy and awkward, kind of like the silver version of “Pineapples have peelings too” or maybe the surface of the moon. Either way I can’t come up with any redeeming factors for this polish. This is 2 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Millenial is described as a soft pink/nude cream. The application on this was a bit streaky. It was mostly opaque in 2 coats, but I used a third to try and level it out.
Since 5 of the 6 polishes are quite lovely with winning formulas I have to say that it’s a great collection overall. I can look past Stardust, afterall we all have things we regret in life. This collection is available now on the LVX website and they retail for $18 each. The price point seems high to me, but it’s a good option for those wanting high end boutique brands.
