Square Hue Clave
Clave is described as a shimmering black jelly polish. Although it is fairly sheer it applies easily and covers fully in 3 coats. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Square Hue Montuno
Montuno is described as a rhubarb creme polish with subtle copper shimmer. This color changes quite a bit based on lighting and I struggled to get an accurate swatch. I used 3 thin coats for my swatches followed by a glossy top coat.
Square Hue Tumbao
Tumbao is described as a soft blush neutral creme polish. My favorite of the 3 shades, although it was pretty streaky. Opaque in 2 coats but I used a third to get even coverage. Sealed with a glossy top coat.
As soon as I saw these colors I knew immediately I wanted to do a kind of dotticure. For my base I started with 3 coats of Zoya Juliette, a sheer white jelly. Then using 3 sizes of dotting tools I created random dots in varying sizes and colors. I finished it off with a glossy top coat.
What do you think of this months colors? I love how perfectly they go together.
