Being a child of the 80’s I have always been a Michael Jackson fan. I had a life size wall poster of him up in my childhood bedroom. Too bad I don’t still have that! Now I know that things with Michael Jackson got weird as the years progressed but there is no denying that he was an incredibly talented artist. To this day his music is still some of my favorite. His far too early death was a tragedy and shook me to my very core. But I loved doing this mani, for both the glitter polishes, and as a sort of tribute to The King of Pop!
For this mani I used the following products:
- Zoya Dahlia
- Sally Hansen Crayola White 509
- MdU Red
- MdU White
- Chez Delaney Michael Jackson Stamping Plate
- Painted Polish Drunk on Holo
- Fine detail brush
PixieDusts are amazing for glitter and I always love working in different textures in my art. On my index and little nail I stamped images from the Chez Delaney plate. (Believe it or not I started my manis so early that I had time for a 2 week wait on this specific plate!) For the glove I started with an outline and filled it in with another of my favorite glitters, Painted Polish Drunk on Holo.
And the macros…
Hope you enjoyed todays mani. I smile again everytime I look at it. Were you a Michael Jackson fan? Or am I just showing my age?
