The Digit-al Dozen does All that Glitters ~ Pet Hair is My Glitter

I am super excited to announce I am now a member of The Digital Dozen. The Digital Dozen is a small group of highly skilled bloggers and nail artists who do 5 themed manis each month. I was a mix of surprised, shocked, and elated when I got the email. I still kind of want to pinch myself! The other reason I am excited about this is well.. nail art. Every January I say I will do more nail art for my blog, but for the first time I actually have the structure I need in place to do it. And a wonderful group of ladies to do it with! Accountability is life. The theme for January is ‘All That Glitters.’ So prepare to see lots of glitter this week. I start out pretty conservative with my designs but I jumped out of my box later on, so keep watching.

Digital Dozen All That Glitters ~ Pet Hair is my Glitter

If you’ve ever had a pet in your life you have probably heard the term ‘Pet Hair is my glitter.’ As you may have guessed it’s dog hair specifically for me. With 5 amazing furry children I can assure you that dog hair is indeed my glitter, it goes with me everywhere I go. The black dogs shed on white and the white dog, well he sheds on everything. I wouldn’t have it any other way though!

Everytime I thought about this theme the old saying “All That Glitters is Gold” came to mind, so gold seemed a natural choice for my first mani. I have always loved pink and gold together, because pink just rocks. I’m a total girly girl and pink is always a favorite.
