The Digit-al Dozen does Mythical Creatures: The Kraken

Have you all been enjoying this week of The Digit-al Dozen? The Digital Dozen is a small group of highly skilled bloggers and nail artists who do 5 themed manis each month. The theme for this month is ‘Mythical Creatures’ and for today’s mani I went with The Kraken. I have always been intrigued by the depths of the ocean, especially the giant creatures that live there, real or imaginary.

I had all sorts of great ideas for Kraken nails. Unfortunately this was one of those times where none of my ideas translated to my nails well. This was even my second attempt, and I considered a third attempt but decided to leave them as is. They aren’t perfect, but none of us are.. right?

Oh and if you want to know what that brown blob-ish thing is.. thats the ship that the Kraken is dragging down to its watery grave.
