Caption Polish Big Sigh
Big Sigh is described as a breathy pale pink. To me this runs so pale that it feels a little more on the nude end. Flawless formula. Applies easily and dries very quickly. This is 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.
Caption Polish Feelin’ Myself
Feelin’ Myself is described as a dusty mineral pink. I’m not feeling that description though. To me this leans more orange than pink. I would personally describe it as a soft light terra cotta. Flawless formula. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Nail Art
For this look I did a gradient using Big Sigh and Feelin’ Myself. Regardless of how they are described they look amazing together. Don’t they look amazing together? I then stamped in white with one of the images from the Everyday Nail Art kit.
Caption Polish Slump Bump
Slump Bump is described as a pink silver lining. Whats going on here? Am I color blind? I would describe this as a soft metallic copper. It’s quite close to Essie’s Penny Talk. Stamps great as well. This is one super easy coat. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Caption Polish Peep the Goods
Peep the Goods is described as a metallic copper brick red. Now that is a description I would agree with. Another flawless formula. This is 2 coats with glossy top coat.
Nail Art
For this look I started with 2 coats of Peep the Goods and stamped over it with Slump Bump using an image from the Everyday Nail Art kit.
This is the corresponding Everyday Nail Art kit. It includes one stamping plate with 12 images, a Caption clear jelly stamper, and a scraping card.
I found all of these polishes to be really nice, I love the colors and formulas. They apply so easily and dry very fast. The stamper and stamping plate were good quality and I had no real issues to speak of. Caption Polish retails for $9.95 each and the stamping plate kit retails for $12.50 (although it appears to be out of stock right now).
