Honey Bunny Lacquer Supermassive Black Hole
Supermassive Black Hole is described as a deep purple base with copper/green/pink/gold UCC flakes and an indigo/purple shift. My swatches are 2 coats, first with no top coat then with glossy top coat.
Honey Bunny Lacquer Space Oddity
Space Oddity is described as a deep green base with green/blue/purple UCC flakes and a green/teal shift. My swatches are 2 coats, first with no top coat then with glossy top coat. I can see a couple thin spots on this one so it probably could have used a third coat.
Honey Bunny Lacquer We’re All Made of Stars
We’re All Made of Stars is described as a black base with green/blue/purple UCC flakes and a purple/aqua shift. My swatches are 2 coats, first with no top coat then with glossy top coat.
Honey Bunny Lacquer Dark Side of the Moon
Dark Side of the Moon is described as a deep bronze with blue/gold/green/bronze UCC flakes and a green/teal shift. My swatches are 2 coats, first with no top coat then with glossy top coat. I’m seeing a pink shift with this one, but it’s one of the reasons I love it. Deep greens with pink shifts are always stunning!
If you have worked with mattes much then you probably know they tend to be a little finicky. That’s not the case with these though, they applied much more like a creme than a matte and they are very forgiving even if you do struggle with a couple nails. Deb has done a lot of matte polish over the years and she has clearly done a lot of work to perfect her matte formula.
Do you have favorites from these? My personal favorites are We’re All Made of Stars and Dark Side of the Moon. I love that these all look great in both matte and glossy.
The Galaxy Mattes Collection releases Friday, April 27th at 3pm EST.
