Inspiration: The band Red Hot Chili Peppers album, ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magic’ released in 1991. The album including popular songs such as “Under the Bridge,” “Give It Away” and “Breaking the Girl” has gone platinum 7 times since.
Anthony Kied-Yaass! is described as a crimson candy-apple red packed with both opalescent and chrome shifting flakes. The beautiful flakies vary in shades of subtle to bright, orange and pink. Paying homage to the popular inspiration band RHCP, the polish appears to have been sprinkled with beautiful chili pepper flakes!
The formula was flawless and applied effortlessly. It was opaque in just 2 coats, which is impressive for a jelly base on my very opaque free edge. I did add a third coat just to deepen the color. Sealed with glossy top coat.
with Matte Top Coat
As a fun bonus, a few vinyl nail stencils are included with each bottle of polish. The stencil/decal is in the shape of one of Anthony Kiedas’ smaller but very recognizable tattoos. A black asterisk symbol (or “Star of Affinity”) tattoo is located on his right wrist and was later used as a band logo. This symbol was often associated with RHCP and was commonly seen printed on t-shirts, as well as other merchandise.
Somehow I missed these in my package so I don’t have pics to show you, but you can see them on the listing on the Polish Pickup site.
