One last Polish Pickup post then I’m going to disappear until next week. The theme this month is The 90’s. It’s suprising how much of the inspiration I’m too old to remember. I graduated in ’93 and jumped right into classes and work. I think I stopped paying attention to the world at that point, I didn’t even know about the OJ fiasco intil the infamous white bronco chase. Okay, so Jenna chose The Tick as her inspiration. From Jenna ~ “The Tick has been a part of my life since 1994. I had every episode on tape and would watch them over and over again. Even now 20 some years later my family and I still reference The Tick.”

If you have not participated in the Polish Pickup yet let me tell you a bit more about it. The polish pickup is a great solution to the issue of polish boxes where you only want 2-3 of the polishes but you have to buy all 5+ anyway. It is designed around one centralized theme for each month and consists of well over 60 brands who all create their own custom polishes around that theme. Then you get to put together your own “box” by choosing just the polishes you want! It’s a great way to try new brands too. There is no minimum so you can buy as few or as many as you’d like. Some months I buy just a single polish and other months I buy 12, and it’s just a low $3 shipping either way!

Spoon! is described as a bright blue base loaded with pink shimmer, orange to gold to pink flakies, and a dash of holo sparkle. I had no application issues, it applied smoothly. It was the perfect viscosity with no flooded cuticles. My swatches are 3 thin coats with glossy top coat.

Spoon! will only be available through The Polish Pickup Friday, May 4th at 11am EST through Monday, May 7th at 11:59pm EST. The polish will retail for $12.00 and there is no cap.
