I hadn’t done a drip marble in a while and really wanted to so I jumped right in with a few polishes sitting on my desk. Truth be told most of my nail art comes about by a couple polishes on my desk catching my eye.
Polishes Used:
- Scofflaw Heisenberg
- Painted Polish Beards and Bowties
- ILNP Mega X
- Great Lakes Lacquer To Thine Own Self Be True
- Zoya Haruko*

I did make a couple mistakes this time. First I was trying to be more aware of only using as much polish as necessary, which unfortunately also meant I had no room for error. So when I cut a piece of decal too short for my nail I had to get creative about how to remedy it. Creating a new drip marble and waiting 12 hours for one nail certainly isn’t feasible. So I ended up using the 2 pieces that were too short by aligning them on my nail with a sticky base coat then somewhat “mending” them together with top coat. If you can’t tell which nail it was then I did a good job covering it up! 🙂
I then added a little stamping with Lina Totally Negative 01 and Painted Polish Midnight Mischief. I found that I liked it better without the stamping, this particular pattern just covered up more of the design than I wanted. But it’s still pretty in its own way.
Which way do you prefer it?.Sometimes I just need to stop when I’m ahead. 🙂
