Savvy & Chic Fireflies
Fireflies is described as a bold neon yellow creme that absolutely glows. It’s like the brightest highlighter yellow, but applies like smooth butter. My swatches show 3 thin coats with glossy top coat. No undies (white base coat) needed on any of these!
Savvy & Chic Limeritas
Limeritas is described as a sassy lime green neon creme. It immediately made me think of those Bud Light Limeritas that came out a couple years ago. I never tried them, but I heard they are sooooo yummy. And this shade is yummy on the nails! This is 2 coats with glossy top coat. No undies needed on any of these.
Savvy & Chic Equinox
Equinox is described as a super bright neon orange creme. Equinox is the moment the plane of Earth’s equator passes through the center of the Sun. The brightest, hottest part of the sun.. and that’s exactly what kind of orange this is. The brightest, hottest almost molten lava orange. You’re gonna need some shades for this one! This is 2 coats with glossy top coat. No undies needed for any of these.
Savvy & Chic Flip Flops & Flamingos
Flip Flops & Flamingos is described as a bold neon fuchsia creme. The name describes it perfectly too, although full disclosure I don’t like flip flops. I know right! That piece between the toes is so uncomfortable for me, although I will wear sandals year round if you’ll let me! No one is going to be looking at your shoes while you’re wearing this polish though. My swatches show 2 coats with glossy top coat. No undies needed.
Savvy & Chic Bomb Pops
Bomb Pops is described as a bright neon royal blue creme. I actually had to google bomb pops, I have never heard of them! Sheltered I tell ya, I was so sheltered. My nursery rhyme books had the “violent” parts marked through in black marker.. apparently cutting off mouse tails was the big thing to worry about back then. Who knew? 🤔 This bright blue applied perfectly in just 2 coats. You can see some nail line in my pics, but it was not visible in real life. Sealed with glossy top coat.
Savvy & Chic Fairs & Fireworks
Fairs & Fireworks is described as a vivid neon violet purple creme. This color reminds me of those bright purple tulips that litter the roadside in mid spring. A truly stunning shade that will draw many compliments when it’s gracing your tips or toes. I’m wearing 2 easy coats in my swatches, sealed with glossy top coat. No undies needed.
Now didn’t I tell you these neons were fantastic! And the best part is they apply easily and effortlessly in 2 coats (with the exception of the yellow that I needed 3 coats for.) And possibly the best part… *drumroll please*… they watermarble! Now you won’t see any glorious watermarbles here, cause I don’t watermarble, but they do. I did do some cool nail art with these though, check back soon for that! The Savvy & Chic Summer Neons Collection releases this Friday, June 13th. But you can pre-order the full 6 piece collection now for $40.
I’ve also been testing the Savvy & Chic base coat and top coat over the last week, and I’m very impressed with both. The base coat is an adhesive base which can really help grip your polish to your nails. I really like the bright teal color too, but no worries it dries clear. I tend to have a dozen different base and top coats scattered around my desk at any point in time, and I never had to search for this one. It’s easy to spot and you can go right to it. The top coat is a medium density quick dry, much like KBShimmer etc. Not as thick as Seche Vite but not as thin as Out the Door. It’s like the bears porridge of top coats. Just right. (Yeah that nursery rhyme made the cut! LOL) It dries in average quick dry time frame 30-60 seconds for surface dry, and resume your life dry within 30 minutes.
