Murron Peel Off Gel Sexy Maroon
Sexy Maroon is a classic dark maroon gel. I applied this in 3 coats, curing for 30 seconds after each coat. You can definitely still see some thin spots, but wasn’t going to try for a 4th coat. I followed this up with a coat of the Peel Off Gel Top Coat and cured for 30 seconds.
The LED light auto shuts off at 30 seconds so no worrying about not curing enough, etc.
Murron Peel Off Gel Starry Night
Starry Night is described as a navy blue gel polish with a light blue shimmer throughout, just like a night sky. The consistency on this was very thick and almost goopy so I found it difficult to work with but once it was cured it had leveled out nicely (better than the others actually.) I applied this in 2 coats curing 30 seconds between each coat, followed by the Peel Off Gel Top Coat.
Murron Peel Off Gel Sandstone Cove
Sandstone Cove is described as a medium taupe with grey undertones. This was very opaque even in just one coat, but I used 2 coats just in case, curing 30 seconds between each coat. I did however feel like it was thick and uneven after curing, but I think that is most likely a user error issue.
So now you probably want to hear about the peel-off removal. As a blogger I use latex peel off base coats quite often, so when I hear peel-off I think easy peasy peel off in seconds. Well that is not the case here, and you wouldn’t even want it to be. I don’t think it would lift and peel on it’s own (at least not easily), and water does not seem to affect it either. To peel it off I gently lifted the edge with an orange stick and slowly pushed around the edge to loosen it up. Now I really want to emphasize *gently* because I actually did damage my nail a little at first because I got a bit too carried away, hence why I say it’s not going to easily come off on its own. The documentation says up to 2 weeks of wear, which certainly seems feasible to me. I couldn’t test that though since I would likely go insane with just one color for 2 weeks, but honestly my nails had prior commitments as well. I do plan on using these more over the holidays when my nails have some free time and will definitely update this when I do.
My Thoughts: Overall I quite like this system. I think it’s a good option for those that aren’t quite ready to jump head on into gel polish, have concerns with adverse reactions, or dread the difficult gel removal process. The price is very reasonable and for the most part I found application to be very easy. The few issues I did run up against I think can likely be attributed to my own inexperience with gel polish. I also like that these are 10-Free, Vegan, and Cruelty Free.
I hope I have covered most everything, if not don’t hesitate to drop a question below and I will happily respond.
