Hey friends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. It’s Monday and it’s the start of my favorite week of the month.. Digital Dozen. That’s right, the second week of each month a small group of highly skilled nail artists and bloggers get together to create 5 manis designed after one centralized theme. For December the theme is Holo, which is quite broad but it also allows extra room for our own ideas and creativity. I’m all into the christmas spirit this year (last year I didn’t do a single christmas mani and I didn’t even put up a tree) so I knew right away I wanted to do Holo-day Manis! 

For my first Holoday Mani I went with a simple striped design that really looks like wrapping paper. I try to start the week fairly simple and get more complex as the week goes on. Not all nail art has to be complex though!

Items used: 

• Alchemy Lacquers Peppermint
• Alchemy Lacquers Forevergreen
• Alchemy Lacquers Silver Bells
• Nail Stencils
• Nail Art Detail Brush

I started with a base of Alchemy Lacquers Silver Bell. I applied the stencils to each nail and carefully painted in the red and green in a random order. I pulled off each stencil while the polish was still a bit wet, and topped them off with glossy top coat.
