The Digit-al Dozen does Marble Nails: Day 2

I hope the week is off to a good start for everyone. I’m back with my second mani for the January Digital Dozen. We’re doing Marble Nails this week and todays nails are some of my favorites. Let’s take a look, and leave me a comment below with your thoughts on my jade nails.

Items used:

  • Zoya Jane
  • White Acrylic Paint
  • Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Teal & Green Sharpies
  • Silver Microglitter


Jade Marble Nails

For this look I started with one coat of Zoya Jane on all nails. Using a green sharpie marker I layered some random areas of color from left to right across my nails, diluted the color slightly with the isopropyl alcohol. Then using the white acrylic paint I drew some lines along the colored areas. I layered another coat of Zoya Jane then repeated the process, this time from right to left with a teal sharpie marker. I finished it all off with another thin coat of Zoya Jane. This video by @twi_star shows the process.

This is definitely one of my favorite manis from this week. It has the depth that is often hard to achieve with regular polish. You can click below to see what the other ladies did for today. It’s always fun to see what the other ladies come up with.
