Charlotte’s Web by EB White
As I was remembering this sweet story I was surprised to realize that it correlates so much to my life now 30 years later. You see over the last year or so I have gotten involved with volunteering at a local pig sanctuary, when a friend was given the sanctuary director job. I have been astounded and amazed by what smart emotional animals they are. Along with that I knew I had to cut pork out of my diet, which was quite easy once I made the choice. So Charlotte’s Web means as much in my life today as it did way back then, or perhaps more.
For this mani I started with a base of Pahlish Tallgrass Prairie for the green on the book cover. Then using BP-L086 I stamped the various farm images (first finger is a fluffy lamb if you couldn’t tell). I originally planned to just stamp a spider on, but for whatever reason I couldn’t get a clean transfer. I remembered having this spider charm and thought I would give it a try rather than digging through my mess office to find my other halloween stamping plates. I think it ended up being perfect since Charlotte was a larger than life spider anyway!
